Tyrian 2000 - The Greatest Top Down Shooter

This week Brett and Walker do a deep dive on Brett's favorite game Tyrian 2000. Tyrian 2000 is a top down shooter in many ways similar to many other games in the genre born from Galaga or Space Invaders. Instead of being arcade-y like the vast majority of games in this vein Tyrian 2000 separates itself with a wide variety of ship upgrades and more than one way to succeed. Tyrian 2000 has been a gem for over 2 decades and Brett provides a wonderful breakdown of all the reasons you should check it out.
